Prateek joins CEO Works after shaping the initial organization change effort for the global operationalization of Shell’s Energy Transition strategy. As Head of Strategic Projects in Organizational Development & Change (OD&C) based in The Hague, he worked with the multinational’s extended human resource leadership team to design and deliver systemic interventions in the enterprise’s people strategy and leadership culture that generated its best-ever safety performance.
Previously, as Shell’s Downstream Head of Organizational Development, Prateek orchestrated the strategic changes necessary for ongoing value creation across a 33,000-employee business spanning 150 markets. Working closely with Downstream's executive leadership as their "team coach", he built alignment with 300+ senior executives and drove organization integration across extended value chains. With his 15-member global team of OD advisors, Prateek reviewed operating models, built differentiated capabilities for specific global businesses, and helped deliver significant opex reductions that enabled business units to self-fund their growth.
Earlier, as Shell’s Upstream Head of Organization Effectiveness, Prateek led a seven-member consulting team that was responsible for diagnosing, designing, and delivering organization change for the 10,000-employee global business.
As a senior OD consultant for British Telecom, Prateek diagnosed and designed organizational health interventions that significantly increased business performance and investor confidence in the company’s growth plans. This transformation specialist began his career as a senior management consultant with Capgemini (London) and Accenture (New Delhi, London).
Prateek holds an MBA in Strategy (London Business School), a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management (Xavier Labour Relations Institute, India), and a Bachelor of Science in Physics (University of Delhi).
