Victor da Silva
This culturally fluent business analyst designed and optimized primary business processes at global trailblazer Poly. Cegetel, TomTom, and GE in Europe have also benefitted from his customer orientation, business acumen, and linguistic flexibility.
A tech-savvy multilinguist with strong business acumen.
Victor joins CEO Works' European team fresh from serving as a business analyst in Global Services PCC at California-based Poly (formerly Plantronics). During the merger of Polycom with Plantronics, he investigated both companies' systems and identified business improvements and solutions that supported consolidation and addressed usability issues. As part of the team crafting a global view for service, he designed and optimized processes for delivery across three regions. He harmonized operating procedures and systems documentation, trained personnel in their use, and developed weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to support departmental decision-making. Victor also managed the rollout of a new digital tool for visualizing data in the online warranty service platform, which gave the company's leadership visibility into a large-scale consumer fraud problem they didn't know they had.
At Plantronics, he provided multilingual tech support for products and solutions and helped create the interdepartmental communications systems and customer-facing tools that supported the new service department. Previously, Victor held front-line customer service, support, and care
positions at Cegetel, TomTom, and General Electric, where he spoke with people about everything from subscriptions to upgrades, training to complementary services. This tech-savvy multilinguist—fluent in English, French, Portuguese, Italian, and Dutch—started his career as an intern sales assistant at BMW in Lyon, providing legal advice on compliance with new EC regulations.
As a volunteer, Mr. da Silva led a project involving an exhibition and auction of the work of young artists from 40 countries which raised funds for UNICEF and established the Amsterdam chapter of Junior Chamber International. He also founded the Pallas Alumni Association, led the development of the network and its LinkedIn group, and organized seminars on professional networking and career management for members.
Victor holds a Master's degree in European Business Law (Pallas Consortium) and a Master's in French Business Law (Université Jean Moulin). He has also earned a Professional Program Certificate in Data Science from Microsoft.
